A little about us and why we have Shih tzus. My husband and I have been raising Arabian Horses for years -- BUT they are
too large for house pets! We have often had dogs in our family, but when our son started raising shih tzu's, I was really
impressed with how well this breed and small children got along. This was very important to me as we have grandchildren ranging
from 5 months to 19 years, so we have children in and out of our home constantly - and I did not want to have to worry about
a youngster getting bitten or injured by a family pet. My husband did not want dog hair all over, so the fact that the shih-tzu
does not shed was important to him. So it was decided to let a shih tzu into our family. Selecting Bailee was a family event
with several grandkids helping to select the right puppy. Bailee was healthy, cute and oh, so cuddly. She loved the grandchildren
as much as they loved her. She was a welcome addition to our family.
And here we are, almost 2 years later with her first litter of puppies -- 7 of them, 4 females and 3 males. Cute, adorable
little blessings who will be looking for new homes come the middle of June! We hope they will find homes with children to
love and play with them.
On this site, we will be giving you information about dogs in general, about the Shih tzu in particular, what to consider
before bringing a new puppy into your home and of course, lots of pictures of Bailee and her puppies.
We hope you will enjoy our site.
